1. Computers for life went to Phu Quoc Island
The Minister of Information and Communications Le Doan Hop led a mission to visit and work at the Phu Quoc island (Kien Giang) on August 22nd, 2010. The mission donated 50 computers, 15 printers and 50 manual guides. Thus, the "Computer for life" program of the Ministry of Information and Communication has donated 1734 computers and 329 printers for provinces all over Vietnam.

2. Da Nang: 48.55 billion VND for promoting software export program
Da Nang People\'s Committee has decided to approve the scheme promoting software exports with a total cost of 48.55 billion. The Scheme is built by eight major programs, including: developing policies to support the software export business, expanding ICT infrastructure of Da nang software park; building business incubators; supporting building trade mark, developing market for the software industry; organizing trade fairs; deploying of software copyright protection in enterprises in Da Nang Province.

3. Launching information television channel
Information television channel of Vietnam News Agency (VNA) was officially launched on August 25th, 2010 and was broadcasted in some of major cable television systems. Launching the first specialized channel of news is a meaningful event for press and media activities. This is importance milestone in the route of promoting VNA to become the national news agency which operates with advanced multimedia.

4.Launching website “For Capital environment”
On the occasion of 20 years anniversary of establishment, the Hanoi Nature and Environment Protection Accosiation has launched a website at http://www.moitruongxanh.org.vn, and established "Media Center for Development Environment " to disseminate to the community and citizen about responsibility to preserve the environment.

5.Too many digital signatures will complicate the transaction process
According to many experts, due to the fact that Vietnam has not issued consistent documents, there will be many types of digital signatures and digital certificates, depending on the purpose and object of the transaction. Dr. Vu Quoc Thanh, general secretary of Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) said that too many signatures would complicate the transaction process. According to Hoang Quoc Khanh - Director of Nacencomm, we can not develop digital signature if the authorities still require both the writing paper and electronic documents.

6. Yahoo provided chat software for Viettel
On August 25, Viettel and Yahoo launched the first Chat Yahoo Messenger services for mobile phone in Vietnam. Chat Messenger for mobile phones has all the features of Messenger for the PC, such as friends list division, status setting, friend search, sending files, chatting in Vietnamese and with emoticons, etc. Besides, users can download music and pictures, access the link, send messages to multiple people at once, chat with members that are online on phone or computer and use many other features.

7. Broadcasting 3D movie about Thang Long Palace on September 2nd
A lot of pictures of old Hanoi are being reproduced with 3D technology by Hanoi architects and many of those will be released on September 2nd, 2010. They hope that those pictures such as picture of moving the capital from Hoa Lu to Dai La, picture of the Thang Long Palace and Hanoi 36 old streets, etc will bring to people, especially the young and people of technology passions more understanding about great history of Vietnam.
